What we need when you sell your forklift with us
To get the best valuation we can for you to sell your forklift, we need certain information about your truck. All of this can be submitted to us using the form on this website.
We need a side elevation of both sides of the trucks, left and right and the front and rear. We’ll also need an image of the data plate, the hours on the vehicle, and just a general condition synopsis.
Check the data plate
The data plate will show you the capacity of the truck, the serial number, and the year of manufacture. This is excellent information for us to get the maximum value for you. On a lot of vehicles, they’re in different places, mainly on the bulkhead of the vehicle, but on Jungheinrich models, and others, they can be underneath the dash, on the fascia of the engine covers, or on electric trucks they’ll can be along the body fascia.
Runtime hours
In order to sell your forklifts we will also need the hours of the vehicle. This is similar to the miles on your car. That will usually be displayed on the dash, either on the main dash, or it might be on a monologue dial clock.
How we value used forklifts
As we’ve mentioned we will need photographs of both sides of the vehicle, the front and the back, the data plate, and the hour meter reading. You can submit this using the form on this website, including attaching photos, and this will come straight through to us so we can get back to quickly with a full valuation and let you know what the next steps are if you’d like to go ahead with the sale.
